Equine Extravaganza will not be held in 2017

Who can attend: All horse project members

Horse Classic

We know that equine project members are passionate about horses and are always seeking to better understand them and their behaviours.  So at Equine Extravaganza, the focus is on helping you to become a better horseman.  This event will expose you to various facets of Alberta’s horse industry and well known industry experts, and will provide you with plenty of opportunities to demonstrate your knowledge and abilities.  The Horse Bowl, marketing, showmanship, judging and mounted English and Western components, just to name a few.  And the best part is that you’ll be hanging out with fellow 4-H horse fanatics the entire time! You’ll leave a better horseman and with a bunch of new friends and useful tidbits of information on horse behaviour, communication, care and nutrition.

Senior members who attend this event will vie for four spots on 4-H Alberta’s Hippology Contest Team that will travel to Denver, Colorado to compete at the Western National Roundup in January 2016.
