The following scholarship opportunities are available to 4-H members pursuing post-secondary education.

Applications for 4-H Canada scholarships open March 1 and close May 31, 2019

4-H Canada Leadership Excellence Awards of Distinction (L.E.A.D.)

L.E.A.D. honours the accomplishments of four special 4-H senior youth members and showcases the outstanding accomplishments of 4-H members across Canada in the area of leadership excellence. Through the generosity of CN, four scholarships – with an overall value of $20,000 each over four years – are available to 4-H members who have demonstrated personal values, leadership and community involvement within one of 4-H’s Leadership Development Pillars. John Deere Canada 4-H Scholarships

Through the generosity of John Deere Canada, 15 scholarships – valued at $1,000 each – are available to 4-H members across Canada. Opportunities such as this help support 4-H members who will pursue post-secondary education at a Canadian college or university in a degree, certificate or trade-based program. Read the application guidelines for this scholarship.

Canadian Co-operative Wool Growers 4-H Scholarships

Through the generosity of the Canadian Co-operative Wool Growers, two scholarships - each valued at $500 – are available to 4-H members planning to attend a Canadian university or college in September 2019 in an agriculture-based program, ideally with a focus on sheep related studies. Read the application guidelines for this scholarship.

Weston Family 4-H Agricultural Scholarships

Through the generosity of The W. Garfield Weston Foundation, full-year tuition scholarships are available to 4-H members who will be attending a Canadian university pursuing an agricultural-based degree. Successful applicants could be undergrads, graduate students or completing their post-grad program. Read the application guidelines and eligible programs and institutions for this scholarship.
