8:30 - 9:00 am Consumer Decision Making registration - Barrhead Elementary School
9:00 - Group Photo
9:05 -12:00 Consumer Decision Making judging 
12:00 - 12:45 Lunch and CDM awards – Barrhead Elementary School 
12:30 - 1:00 pm – Livestock Judging Registration - Barrhead Ag Barn 
1:10 pm - Large Group Photo   
1:15 - ~4:30 pm – Livestock Judging and Awards 
Judging Categories

Workshop (Beginners/Refresher): This is a workshop group only, not a competition (no awards).  Those attending regional judging for the first time are welcome to register in their age category competition instead if they wish.

Junior:     9 to 11 years of age as of December 31, 2018
Intermediate:    12 to 14 years of age as of December 31, 2018
Senior:     15 to 20 years of age as of December 31, 2018
*Cleaver Kid members are NOT eligible to participate in the Regional Judging Day. 
Senior Members 16 years or older by July 31, 2019 are eligible to be selected to represent the Northwest Region at the 2017 4-H Alberta Provincial Multi-Species Judging Competition. (*Some award trips may not be available to those who are not 17 as of January 1st, 2019.) 
Classes – See below 

- 1st & 2nd place overall in each age category - prizes       
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each class, each age group - certificates   
- Top district (minimum of four members from the district to qualify)   
- Recognition of the seniors qualifying for the Provincial Judging Competition 
Registration  Deadline: March 15, 2019

Fees: $25.00 per member (includes lunch and snack) Active volunteers will receive lunch at no cost.  Additional meals can be purchased for $15 each. 

Club Cheque, payable to: Northwest 4-H Regional Council, should accompany the form.  With prior notice, a club cheque may be accepted at the door.  Alternately, individuals may pay by e-transfer by emailing with the security question “Who is the 4-H Mascot” and answer “Cleaver”.  Email messages should include the name of the program and who is being paid for.

No late registrations accepted. Clubs may substitute members, with notice.

Door Prizes: Each 4-H club is asked to bring two (suggested value $10 to $15) door prize items.  Draws will be made at lunch.

Adult Volunteers:  Minimum of 1 adult volunteer per 4 members.  See attached list of jobs.
