Deadline: October 10, 2017 11:55 PM
Start Date: October 20, 2017 5:00 PM End Date: October 22, 2017 1:00 PM
Location: 4-H Centre, WESTEROSE AB

Program Description:

Every day we are faced with countless decisions such as what we are going to eat, wear, and listen to. Consumer Decision Making helps 4-H members learn about what to consider when purchasing consumer items so they can make educated decisions. Explaining your choice and the reasoning behind it is also a critical life skill. This judging opportunity is open to all members 14+, regardless of project involvement.

This weekend will be an opportunity for members to practice their judging skills on everyday consumer items. The program will start Friday evening with some get acquainted activities and a short workshop on consumer decision making and presentation of oral reasons. Saturday members will judge 6 classes of items and present oral reasons. A workshop on how to share information about consumer decision making when members return to their clubs and districts will follow. Awards will be presented on Sunday morning to conclude the weekend. Members will be free to leave prior to noon.
